When we cold call the business owners, we ask simple qualifying questions like revenue, number of employees, and whether they’ve done a valuation before. The main goal is to confirm if they’re interested in selling. Once the owner is motivated, I schedule the appointment directly with the business broker. The broker handles the closing from there.
